Allie Schell's Story

DJ/MC

Hello! I’m from small town Harvey, ND (you’re not the only one that’s never heard of it) and I moved to Fargo in January 2022. I’ve always been a very musical person growing up, getting influence from my mom, who is the Karaoke Queen of Harvey, and my dad, who thinks he knows everything about classic rock. I was in choir all throughout my school years and I took part in a handful of musicals, including Once Upon A Mattress, No Clue (alongside my mom), and High School Musical 2, where I played the one and only Sharpay Evans (fabulous, I know).

The summer before my senior year, I was given the opportunity to be part of a choir consisting of students from North Dakota and Montana, with The Northern Ambassadors of Music. We traveled to 7 different countries in Europe within the span of a month (my favorite being Switzerland), and we were fortunate enough to sing in some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. That month was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and it will be hard for anything to top it. I’ll take it with me forever.

I attended my freshman year of college at UND for Musical Theatre before deciding to move to Fargo to take a few gap years. Alongside working for Harmon, I work at the Arc Attic thrift store, where I can support my addiction of buying fun trinkets that I don’t need, but desperately want in the moment.

So, if you’re looking for someone fun and lively that will keep the good music flowing and sing along to every song, look no further.

“Allie Schell couldn’t have done a better job as our DJ. We cant thank her enough for how great she was. Always helpful with last minute questions and changes. The guests loved the dance and the dance floor was full all night long. Allie did a phenomenal job with incorporating Spanish and English music! Thank you for the great night!”
