Hello and welcome to one of the first steps of planning your wedding reception!! My name is David, but if you prefer- you can call me Dave G. I began DJing weddings as a Freshman in college in 2008. Now, 16 years later, I am ecstatic to become a part of Harmon Entertainment and make your wedding the greatest ever.
With over 245 weddings under my belt prior to joining Harmon, it goes without saying that I’ve DJed for a few other companies in the region. In addition, I’ve also had the honor of owning and operating my own DJ company. This has helped me gain a large amount of perspective, and helps me take mental ownership of commitments I make to you both. Some of the things that happen at weddings rely on quick reflexes to correct- BEFORE they happen. As cliche as it may sound, experience makes a night, and nothing replaces it. I’ve seen it time and time again with people I’ve hired elsewhere, and have also saved many weddings from the dark clutches of “New-DJ fear” and poor planning. This is a non-issue at Harmon, and you can’t imagine how refreshing it is. I’m excited to pair the underlying fundamentals I already possess with The Harmon Way.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Marketing at the University of Minnesota Duluth and am working towards my Masters in Supply Chain & Logistics, which I’m expecting to complete this year! My career in supply chain keeps me busy during standard work hours, so it’s nice to have a reputable and reliable office staff here at Harmon to handle the sales and administrative functions. This way, I can spend my evenings planning with you, and then get out on the weekends and do what I love- for you!! When I’m not DJing or planning a wedding, you can catch me recording music in my spare time. As a lifelong musician, it inspires me to select and empower music as the common thread that unites us all, as we celebrate you two for the greatest night of your life. I look forward to meeting with you!!
